We are first time pool owners. What is typically included in one of your pools?
The simple answer is whatever you want and whatever your budget will allow. However, we have found that most of our customers opt for a pool that is no more than 5 ½ feet deep (known as a playpool), approximately 100 feet in diameter, with a 6-person heated spa, beach entry, water feature, salt chlorination system, pebble finish, flagstone coping, a minimum of 600 square feet of colored stamped concrete deck, Polaris Pool Cleaner and a cartridge filter. We also construct 8 ½ foot deep diving pools and have an unlimited supply of material finishes for the pool.
Can you develop a master plan for us to select from?
This is what we normally do, starting with our first meeting at your home. There are many options to consider and we list and price these separately so you can pick and choose based on your budget. Incidentally, you are under no obligation and there is absolutely no high-pressure salesmanship. We want you to be happy with your decision and we truly love what we do. Our motto: “The customer is the business and the business is the customer” says it all.
What warranties do you offer?
The gunite shell of the pool is warranted for the life of the pool under your ownership. StoneScapes finishes have a 10 year limited warranty. Rock, tile, coping and concrete decks are warranted for one year. Pentair, Jandy and RayPack equipment is warranted for 3 years.
How long does it take to complete a project?
As you probably know, the pool industry is notorious for some “bad apples” that excavate the pool and then take forever to complete the project. We fast track pools and often have them done in 3 ½ weeks from permitting by the city. We have many satisfied customers that will verify this claim. We are onsite daily to maintain quality and timely performance. For critical stages like excavation and guniting, we are there the entire time to insure compliance with the design specifications. One other note, you will meet with us from the first consultation meeting, through construction and to startup. There is no sales person that will pass you off to a construction manager. We do it all!
